Roberto Torretta Fall Winter 22/23

Spain's designer, Roberto Torretta, presents his Fall Winter 22/23 collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid

Roberto Torretta launched his  Fall/Winter 22/23 collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week celebrated live this week in Madrid at IFEMA

Roberto Torretta presents an Autumn/Winter 22/23 collection with a proposal of hyper-real silhouettes with a midi cut, multi-pink-train, and column in “changeant” effect satin fabrics in “brown golden, cauldron orange, green, blue denim “peony haute” and micro-ribbed raspberry.

The collection integrates sustainability both in the design process and in the fabrics; combining CAD technology and traditional cutting methods, resulting in minimal fabric waste. Torretta highlights the organic Japanese cottons and wools, present with the objective of raising awareness of respect for the environment through both eco-fabrics and slow fashion: creating wardrobes that are timeless creations.

Twin designs, coats, jackets, and trousers in twill fabrics in neutral tones or navy blue pressed wool, combined with meticulous tailoring to survive seasons and trends, are the basis of the collection.

The night collection intends to be insinuating and captivating. Black silk devoré velvet and silver metallic knit fabric design flared and columned dresses,  accessories, the house brand  leather,  complete Roberto Torretta's collection proposal for fall/winter 22/23.

Her Majesty the Queen of Spain visited the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid to express her strong support for Spanish fashion and Haute-couture design. During her visit, Doña Letizia has been able to hear first-hand all about the challenges of the industry. The fashion industry contributes to 2.4% of Spain’s GDP.

Queen Letizia took a special interest in the EGO collection, meeting with the young designers. Doña Letizia’s presence at this 75th commemorative edition was reason for enormous excitement from the public, journalists, and professionals. It was her first return since becoming Queen. H.M. is very aware of Spain’s fashion industries’ need for support before the challenges and opportunities awaiting the future.
